On June 1st 2013, Mount Sunapee Resort is set to GET MUCKED UP by the 2nd annual Mountain Mucker!
~BOSTON STRONG!~
The Mountain Mucker 2013 Course is a 5K obstacle course race which will take you up, and down, (and up and down again at least one more time) the challenging terrain of Mount Sunapee in Newbury, NH. Natural (you do realize this is a ski mountain, right?) as well as Adrenaline Junkee made obstacles will keep you using your strength, stamina, balance, brain, and teammates (or perfect strangers) to get you through the course. For those of you that want a little something extra, there will be an additional “Challenge Loop” that will lengthen the race and provide for additional obstacles. Oh….and yes, there will be mud, we don’t call it “The Mucker” for nothing. All participants in the 5K race must be ages 12 and up. Anyone under the age of 18 must have a parental release signed and we ask that anyone age 14 or under have an adult race with them.
All adult racers receive the following:
Official “Got Mucked Up” t-shirt (Unless you sign up on race day...if we don't receive your size prior to May15th we can't guarentee you a size)
Finisher Medal
Swag Bag full of goodies
One beer (must be 21+ and provide proper ID)
A portion of every race entry gets donated to our favorite local non-profit: New England Handicapped Sports Association (NEHSA). We can’t say enough good things about this organization and their mission falls directly in line with the Mucker philosophy of ensuring that everyone, regardless their individual challenges has the opportunity to participate in physical activity!
